No. It is stainless steel with 18K gold plating (or plain polished steel for the silver-tone style): light, sturdy and easy to wear every day.
How do I keep it shiny?
Put it on after lotion and perfume, take it off to swim or shower, and wipe it with a soft dry cloth.
